Band Website

This project aims to provide local bands with a tailored, all-in-one site for selling merch, promoting gigs and sharing music and news with fans. Many local bands do not have the knowledge or access to tools to develop unique websites for themselves, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to support my local community. I am a music nerd at heart, so developing this project was a lot of fun and has further enhanced my web development skills. The project encompasses backend and frontend frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL.

The merchandise page is linked with a product catalogue provided by the database and allows users to search for items and add them to the cart for checkout. They will also receive an order summary via email once checked out. The database captures user data so that the band or merchandise supplier can organise product shipping.
